Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel! He is not only prophet and king, but also the great Priest who fulfilled perfectly all OT prophecies and offered Himself as a sacrifice to satisfy God's justice on the behalf of all who would believe. Why should anyone want to go back under the Law with such a High Priest of the good things that have come?
